The Invacare BirdieEVO mobile hoist has been designed to offer a high standard of options that have been blended with new technologies to provide maximum comfort and security when lifting or transferring a patient to or from a bed, chair or even the floor. It has a SWL of 180kg and will be available with a detachable battery in either electrical or manual leg operation.

What’s new?

• Sling Hook Design: Thanks to the new user-friendly hook design on the fixed spreader bar, it allows the loop on the sling to be attached with just one hand. A wider hook makes positioning loops easier, whilst the hook’s nose has been designed to prevent slings sliding out unintentionally, reducing the risk of injury.
• Curved Design of Boom and Spreader Bar: The distinct curved design allows carers to maintain eye contact with clients throughout a transfer and also gives a 360° rotation of the spreader bar at the highest position to protect the leg from coming into contact with the mast.
• Ergonomic Push Bar: The Ergonomic design of the push bar makes handling and manoeuvring easier. Thanks to the increased depth of the handles, carers are able to work with comfortable arm extension during transportation activities.
